Direct TV offer - ESPN Unlimited

Just got an email stating I can activate my ESPN Unlimited subscription. Unsure if this is something I even want or need. Currently, I get everything I want out of ESPN other than away non-conference baseball which requires me to pay one month of ESPN+. Do I want/need this?

If you have a Signature plan with DirecTV Stream you get the ESPN Unlimited/Disney+/Hulu w/commercials bundle at no cost. I was always an ESPN+ subscriber until DirecTV Stream offered this complimentary bundle. Lots of discussion on the DirecTV Stream subreddit regarding the same. Hope it works for you.

Correct. Once I activated the ESPN Unlimited bundle I got an email from ESPN notifying me that I had duplicate subscriptions. I cancelled ESPN+ and saved the 11.99/mo. I still have all the programming I had with ESPN+.

I’ve never once been locked out of something on ESPN+ that I cared about. What’s the point of that perk?

I think they’re only offering it for people who stream DIRECTV at this point. DIRECTV satellite users will get it later in the fall. My brother has DIRECTV so I’m gonna sponge off of his to watch WWE when satellite users are able to get it.

For any Hulu + live tv users this offer also applies at no additional cost.
