Who will be this year's Dorsey?

I was watching my TIVO of the 2008 BCS Championship Game yesterday (I know, my wife says I'm pathetic).
Halfway through the 2nd qtr, the announcer was giving advice to OSU about Dorsey saying, "You don't want to get him emotionally in the game as well as physically because the rest of the defense feeds off of him."
That statement made me wonder who 2009's 'Dorsey' will be? That player that gets the rest of the defense fired up emotionally as well as physically all game long. IMO, the 2008 team didn't have a 'Dorsey'.

A man by the name of Chad Jones.

The problem with CJ is he just doesn't seem to be the "fiery" type. He's a hell of a player but he doesn't seem to fit that "Dorsey mold" this team was missing last year.

I don't know if there will be a "Glenn Dorsey" this year, but on defense, that leader position is open for someone to take.
I'd have to guess Alem, because he's a firey upperclassmen or maybe even PP because of how much emotion he shows and how well he plays. Good chance for Riley as well.

I'm thinking Rahim Alem needs to be that man. It's always best, IMO, when the emotional leader is one of the guys in the trenches. These guys have the nastiest jobs, and when they have the emotional fortitude to never surrender, the rest of the team has no excuses.
I'm hoping one of the D-linemen understand this and takes the responsibility upon themselves.

Hands down...ALEM!!!!!!
He may not play like Dorsey but dude has some of the craziest celebration dances after a sack or tipped pass that I've ever seen.

Either Alem or CJ will be it if we get a true leader on defense to emerge for us this year.

There will never be another Dorsey, atleast not this year. Alem has a chance to be really good though.

If Alem is going to be the leader he needs to set a better example to follow (see: Arkansas, 2008)

Just for the record there will never be another Glenn Dorsey, but I see what you're getting at. Alem would get my vote as well. He could kick the tar out of a few balls to get everyone fired up.

The Fox Sports anouncers of the game sucked so bad that I didn't buy the DVD.

I dont think youre pathetic. I think youre awesome. I watched the 2005 Peach Bowl again the other night, and loved every second of it.

I would love to see Eugene lock down the other corner position and become the emotional leader. remember how buck he would get on the sideline in 2006? If he can bring that to the field, it would be awesome.
