Drew gator tags for RKY and overwhelmed with the acreage. Looking to book an Airbnb but not certain what end to stay on as I've never been. Not looking to steal any spots but just advice on what to expect, terrain and any other helpful information

Its just a lot of low land. There are a bunch of ATV tails, but I imagine you will be bringing a boat?

Lower Sunk is the biggest lake, full of grass and gators but I'm not sure how big. Same with hog pen, you shine a light down there at night and gators eyes all over, again not sure about big ones.

From what I seen and heard, those old bar pits along the Red River levee hold the big gals. They are all over along the levee and along a lot of the rock roads that traverse through the area.

You will need 5 days if you want to check out the whole place. I been going there since 2004 pretty much 8-10 times a year and still haven't been everywhere.

I have a prodrive that I plan on taking. Really appreciate the help. I'll only have one full day to scout so hoping that will be enough to notch some tags. Have you been deer hunting it since '04?

Definitely set lines in the barrow pits. Fill those tags!
