Just watched this game from 10 years ago: #6 Notre Dame @ #12 Clemson -- 2015 Extended Highlights

If Brian Kelly slammed a table after the USC loss, he must have been arrested after this game.

Notre Dame murdered themselves with drops and fumbles in this very muddy game. 6 drops that would have led to 4 first downs, 1 touchdown, and 1 2-point conversion (they lost by 2 by the way), and one of the 3 fumbles happened at the 2 yard line with 2 minutes to play.

Notre Dame trailed 21-3 going into the 4th quarter, and because they stopped making these stupid mistakes for a couple drives, they started moving the ball at will. Notre Dame out-schemed Clemson in this game in my opinion, but Clemson got out with a win by simply taking care of the football.

This doesn't relate much at all to the game next week, but I think I've had the perception that Dabo has for the most part dog-walked BK every time they've met outside of the 2OT game that Notre Dame won when Trevor Lawrence didn't play, so I was surprised to learn that their first meeting was such a tight finish at Clemson.

Well, at least his teams are consistent with slow starts

If I remember, the game was played in the remnants of a hurricane/tropical depression. Heavy downpour and weather played a significant impact on game for both teams.

Yep. I live here. It was a monsoon.
Tropical remnants.
