Uh - you can buy or rent on Youtube.

And, you can watch the opening scene on YT for free at anytime.

How old are you again?

(ETA: I take it all back)

You understand how archaic this is? I'm almost retirement age and I realize that the percentage of folks who record things off TV has to be in the single digits with an average age of 70.

I'm just tired Owlie - I probably shouldn't have posted while I'm sliding into a melatonin sleep.

You're a good person to have come here and let people know. Orson Welles is a sometimes forgotten master to this younger generation and this is one of his best, most complete movies. Where Citizen Kane gets all the attention, the Welles film that most filmmakers revere is this one.

I take it all back. You folks out there with your DVRs or whatever you have, definitely consider watching this movie (or on HBO Max, or *ahem* "other" methods that may or may not involve peg legs, eye patches, parrots or skulls/crossbones.)

Not everybody pays for HBO Max although I do but not everybody does

Turner Classic Movies is more readily available to the uncouth that don't understand the difference between Orson Welles and Hitchcock

And they usually have a related, value-added commentary during the intro and breaks.

I said I take it all back. (Some folks get HBO Max with their internet or wireless plan and such.)
