I know this has been discussed on here before, but I’m planning a trip there the end of October. There are so many courses there, but I will only get to play 2. Does anyone have any thoughts and experiences on the courses there?

Diamanté and Granada are the best. If you can’t get on Diamanté because it is private, then I would go with Cortez, Isabella, or Balboa.

Played earlier this summer. It’s fantastic. Played Cortez, Ponce de Leon, Granada, and Isabella.

As mentioned, Diamante and Granada is the correct answer. If you can't get on Granada, Isabella would be next. I preferred Cortez to Ponce but it wasn't as big of a gap, to me, as Granada/Isabella vs the Cortez/Ponce courses.

They are all worth playing but Diamante and Granada stand out big time from the rest. If you are at a club, just have someone call and get you on at Diamante. Its worth it. We get tee times there fairly easily when our pro calls.

Im driving up from DFW playing Isabella, Cortez, and Granada next weekend. Will report back.

Going to see if I can get a pro to call and get us on Diamente.

Played Isabella with a local for the 4th of July. He said that is what all the locals like to play. From what I understand, its a little more forgiving than some of the other courses, wider fairways, etc.

They just renovated Balboa

I have no other advice. I simply chose Isabella because they had an early tee time available and at one point in the early 2000's, it was the best rated course in Arkansas

Just coming back.

Played Granada, Cortez x2, and Ponce De Leon.

Cortez was phenomenal to play. Granada was awesome. Ponce De Leon was too difficulty for my crappy golf game - i believe they said it’s the tightest course in the area.

We were told to avoid Isabella due to a fungus on the greens.

We had an awesome time and it is a cool place for golf - not much else in the area. Outside the village is a rough looking place.
