Deco AX3000 losing connection

It's only 2.5 years old. Loses connection and doesn't get it back. Friday I reset all 3 of them and used a different one as the main. Worked until now, now even with restarts it's green light for a bit then back to red. Is it just hosed? Crap should last longer than this. Also I confirmed everything at the modem is fine.

I am impatient, bought the Eero 6+ for 105 off at Best Buy that came with an extra/4th piece. All set up and working. Routers blow these days.

Sounds bad. Try install deco app on different phone. Reset but don’t press reset button longer than instructions say.
You can replace a broken node with any deco node. If you live new DFW, I’ll give you a wifi5 node for free.
It might also be a good time to upgrade depending on your setup, plans, and whether or not your backhaul is wired you can buy a single x95 or x55 pro or BE85 on eBay.
What ax3000 system you have? X50, x55, or x60?

X60. 2 different nodes were doing the same thing within a day. Restarting, rebooting, didn't matter how many times it was the same result.
I have 60 days to screw with the old one of it's worth it. I deleted the network in the Deco app and started over with reset devices. If uninstalling the app and then doing that is better, I could try it. I don't see how the software on my phone is causing it to disconnect though.
I read a handful of reviews on the Eero, overall it was rated high at least on the Best buy website. Not that you can trust those. Right now I'm comparing working vs. not working. And of course it happens a few months outside of the 2 year warranty.

X60 is 4x4 80mhz x55 and eero 6+ is 2x2 160mhz. The 2x2 is better if wired backhaul but worse if wireless backhaul.
I’ve had zero problems with deco once set up but I had hell setting one up and had to reset carefully and use different phone app. Had m5 for almost 5 years and x55 for three. Never even had to reset once using weekly auto reset. I was using an SMB router behind the M5 mesh though.

Well I have 3 access points for the mesh and ethernet in several spots I can put them in, so I'll just do that and hope for the best. If it burps at all in the next couple of weeks, I'll reset the Deco and totally uninstall the app from my phone and see what happens again.
Deco worked almost perfectly for 2.5 years. No idea why it crapped out, but this kind of stuff should work without me having to mess with it for much longer than that.

Eero is annoying me with connection on calls today, as I was warned about above. Dicked around with old Deco for a bit with the same bad results. But, found that the same model Deco is on sale today for less than the Eero was, so I'm going to do that.
If TP support ever comes back with anything that works, I'll share here in case it helps others.

The beauty of TP-Link is that for $400 every few years, you can simply replace the whole setup..Three mesh, wifi 7 Tri-band setup right now is $350-400

Well I got the same AX3000 Wi-Fi 6 for 170 (new, just a1 day 120 off sale)... If it lasts (first if it works), great. If it breaks again in 2 years I'll possibly go up a level.

No one cares but me, but I'll update on case others search and my shenanigans can help them avoid wasting time.
-That new router also lost connection after a short time
-ISP did end up replacing the modem, as the one I had was obsolete and was showing some degradation.
-I'm back on the original Deco
-The loss of Internet connection by the router coincides with the Ethernet out being plugged in...
-I changed the WAN port setting from auto to specify port 2 as internet input always to help it avoid getting confused
-I have a switch plugged into it with a few things right there connected
-Out of that switch o also go into the wall and over to another switch that goes out through the rest of the house
-I unplugged everything but my work PC from the 2nd switch
-I unplugged a Roku whose Ethernet port stopped working a while ago from the 1st switch
-Still had a blip, noticed the Blue by ADT security hub device lost connection, restarted that.
-So far so good ...
