Happy 35th anniversary

Yep. I always find it neat that the Pacific miniseries included the man who injured himself cutting open a coconut with his machete. That in fact was the only injury in the Guadalcanal landing.

A couple weeks back, they had a submersible in Iron bottom sound looking at the wreckage from the multiple battles that took place there.

Hard to believe it's been 35 years. I can still remember waking up to these big freaking spiders (camel spiders maybe?) in the top of the tent and as soon as the sun go up the damn flies everywhere.
