Nuss got slammed against OU from the blind side, landing hard on his throwing shoulder. He was on the ground, reeling in pain… the type of reaction that makes you think he's out for the season... then came back and launched absolute bombs?

Yes. In that moment it looked like he was injured when in fact he was only hurting.
I would imagine that by the end of the game many players are hurting, some worse than others. But he wasn't injured so he toughed it out.

Nuss is fine. There wouldn’t be as many insiders coming out of the woodshed to end speculation as quickly as they did if there was truth to it. Sounds like a situation where it blew up on social media and people started spoon feeding it.
When Fournette got hurt in Fall practice, wasn’t it pretty much a conclusion, the injury was pretty serious and would effect his play that season? I think Nuss is okay, and the internet took it and ran with it.
