For a million plus. Rumors up to 1.5 for whatever that's worth but the million has been "confirmed" by all sides. No matter the narrative, all programs are subject to being out bid. Not everyone has the same budget prioritized by position. Bama has 2 top 100 edges committed. They cost also.

The same narrative has been spun about Geralds. Our side has been on record prior to the last 2 weeks that Geralds number would be the reason we didn't get him if that shook out(Ohio St has said the same thing). His number is/was in the range of our 2 5*(Brown/Anderson). At some point the money just doesn't make sense in terms of roster/position management. We upped or he lowered. Likely somewhere in between.

I do love Bama tears though. The other side of the coin isn't as shiny. About time they got a glimpse of it.

I wouldn't say NIL evened anything. The rich can just go get anyone they think deserves a big payday now. Bama doesn't have Oregon money.

Bama is recruiting very well right now. Oregon can't buy every player. Neither can all the other top 10 teams. There's so many good players that aren't ranked 4 or 5 stars. It's incumbent on coaching staffs to identify those players.

Well the ranking services are well known for Bama bias. They follow the money
