He's the 160th ranked prospect on 247, a Top 8 linebacker in his class. I search his name, nothing on here for weeks. He's class of 2026, 247 has a predicted LSU, but that was a full year ago. On3 has him 95%+ to Auburn. What's the deal here?

Emanuel Rufin, rated as the 120th prospect on 247, On3 has LSU at #1 spot with 32% chance. Latest comment or post was 3 weeks ago on him. Where do we stand there?

I think we focus on Gray, Deuce Gerald, Jase Matthews too much when there's 2 other Top 150 recruits that have LSU as a leader on some site.

Garrett gives off head case vibes, though its likely im just projecting. Kid is always bouncing around. That said, he doesn't seem to talk much to recruiting folks.
Last I saw on Ruffin was Auburn going all in with Florida also pushing a bit. Haven't read a blip from any LSU insider in a while.

Edit:looked around and found nothing new aside from Auburn doesn't appear to be making Ruffin a priority. Who is? No clue. Guessing we'll find out in the fall when commitments start flipping, NIL deals get rejected(and the forthcoming hysteria around lawsuits) and schools start crunching numbers. Interesting recruitment for a DL with his size and ability. I can only guess his number is out of touch.
