Sneaky Pete S3: abomination

While nowhere near as good as the first two, the third season was still entertaining and had some great acting performances.

Think this is a series that is ripe to come back for another season.

Sneaky Pete was just an ok series the first 2 seasons but the last season and especially the last episode was terrible.

The whole season was just a ridiculous sequence of scenes that were all completely unbelievable. So many plot holes, odd scenes and plot holes:

Lizzie has move an at least 500 pound box by her self and balances it on the edge of the pier with Julia in it?

The box falls in the water and Pete opens it and saves her in a literal second even though they show the box totally submerged. A locked coffin underwater- frees her in a second in a terribly edited scene.

All the sudden Jeff Ross a guy he is conning says he likes him and now he is a major player in his crew and carrying out cons!?!

Another weird edit was Maggie was caught pretending to be Lila and then it goes to a different scene and when they come back grandma is like "Maggie was pretending to be Lila but she's gone now"- no explanation.

Then they just walk in her room to see she wrote a name on the mirror? Even though she was totally surprised they found her. WTF.

The real Pete just disappeared like Maggie too never mentioned again.

A guy is murdered and the family discovers the body in a house they broke into but the cops are just like ok you've had it rough lately you're free to go

In a few minutes Marius comes up with a great new scheme that all the family members start playing all these fake people and have wardrobes to fit their part. Security guard outfit etc..

Just handcuff grandpa at a big antique show to a staircase with tons of people everywhere and no one notices.

It was a really embarrassing ending to a decent show. Tons of plot holes, implausible circumstances and unfinished storylines. Did they find out late in production they were being cancelled and have to change things? That is the only thing that makes any sense.

The editing was so bad at times in season 3 I had to rewind and make sure I saw what I thought I did.

Also, there is suspending disbelief and then there is just losing all sense of reality. It got to the point Marius knew the future and how everyone would react in every situation.

The writers should be ashamed of themselves
