These guys are not the flashiest, but they are tops in Tiger History for me because of thier leadership and accomplishments.

Just thinking we may not give these two the respect they deserve because they are not Louisiana boys.

He was talented, but didn't win on the field when he needed too.

JR had an equal number of losses as Flynn in their final season...Flynn lost to 2 unranked teams JR lost to the eventual national champion and top 10 auburn team who was the only team to beat the national champion...let's not forget the auburn loss is Jimbo & the refs fault

That is BBC's comment about the "crackers" from another thread, I was being sarcastic since he was so hurt my my thread.

I make a comment about two QB's that led the Tigers to NC's and check out teh replys.

I never said JR was not good.

RD was the man but JB took his time

none of that has anything to do with The two guys that led teh Tigers to NC wins.

Did Jimbo fumble the ball on the goal line?

What does any of that have to do with the fact that Flynn and Mauck were surgeons in the title games?

Marino was " talented" but he would switch with Elway and Montana any day of the week.

They got it done, he didn't

Please tell us what kind of respect they deserve. I would be willing to bet that they do not have to pay for a meal in Louisiana the rest of their lives. I would be willing to bet that EVERY single LSU fan they meet is nice to them and thanks them for what they did.

This is just some stupid shite that will bring out racist negative bullshite about other QB's.

You are actually fueling a disrespect that was not present.

That happened vs. Florida, not Auburn. Jimbo lost the Auburn game for us. We never sniffed the goal line vs. Auburn except for the final play.

That is what I am saying they should. I dont even think about thier color, I think about the rings.

I was thinking LSU history in regards to champions and who has lifted the program on the field.

Talking about Flynn and Mauck only bring out racist thoughts to ignorant racist people.

Neither could manage the game as well as JR

Neither could read defenses as well as JR

Neither had the Moxie of JR.

Neither played within themselves as JR did.

Neither were as smart as JR.

Sure, they were athletic, but they couldn't lead.
