We have a trip booked here in mid-October. Has anyone ever been here? We have heard it was a great place, and I am curious about other things to do off-site, possibly. Any recommendations for the area of other things to do? I am not opposed to just staying on site, but was just curious if anyone else has been.

I've been but it was about 8 years ago. It was a really good place to stay. Depending on how long you're staying will determine if you should go off site or not

We went 7-8 years ago and enjoyed it immensely. The food was great, the grounds were beautiful, plenty of pools and great beaches.
