Giddyup Gotterup. 2 years removed from OU, has a 2 shot lead and on 18th hole. Golfed with McIlroy all day. Would give him an auto entry onto Open. Huge potential win.

I looked him up earlier. He’s had an interesting season. He either misses the cut or finishes in the top 25.
If he makes the cut, it’s a guarantee he’ll have a really solid showing and finish in the top 15-30 range, but won’t be a threat to win. This week is an outlier.

Its hard to imagine something you worked on since childhood and dreamed of having a big win only to actually happen. I can only imagine the emotions one has to achieve it. And yet to hold your nerves all day long as you get closer and closer. I really love seeing this side of sports. No smack talk just pure respect for the game.

Oh, and he’s only the 6th American to ever win the Sottish Open. Wow. Talk about making your entrance. Had to golf against raucous local crowd and Rory. Amazing win.
