Epstein prison footage- “likely modified”

If tweet fails to load, click here. NEW: Metadata from the 'raw' Jeffrey Epstein prison video "was likely modified," according to a new report from WIRED.
The outlet says they analyzed the 10-hour prison video with "independent video forensics experts" who concluded the "raw" footage was modified.
The outlet emphasized that at the moment, there is no evidence the footage was "deceptively manipulated" in any way, but says it was modified to some extent.
"Rather than being a direct export from the prison’s surveillance system, the footage was modified, likely using the professional editing tool Adobe Premiere Pro," WIRED found.
"The file appears to have been assembled from at least two source clips, saved multiple times, exported, and then uploaded to the DOJ’s website, where it was presented as 'raw' footage."
"Experts caution that it’s unclear what exactly was changed, and that the metadata does not prove deceptive manipulation."
The development comes as Deputy Director of the FBI Dan Bongino reportedly took the day off today after clashing with AG Pam Bondi over the handling of the prison footage.

Kind of hard to accept when the first story was that the guards steeped away from a prisoner on suicide watch. The next story was the surveillance cameras weren't working. Now they're telling us there is footage, but WIRED has sources claiming it may not be actual raw footage as claimed.
Sure seems like we're being lied to.

I mean your last sentence there was silly and has nothing to do with anything being discussed. How do you know you haven’t been given the “truth”? IF you ever know the “truth” and you won’t, if it’s anything short of multiple high level prosecutions then it will never be accepted. You are never going to know the full truth about Epstein or any other government conspiracy.

We don’t need omniscience to act- we just need enough. Enough to identify patterns, enough to ask who benefits, enough to pressure institutions that would otherwise bury it under red tape and time.
Truth isn’t an all-or-nothing proposition. Waiting for a cinematic courtroom finale before accepting any conclusion is how power stays unaccountable. Convenient, isn’t it?
We may never get the full truth. But pretending that means we shouldn’t demand any of it? That’s not realism, it’s surrender.
