A place to vote to see who would win a CWS style Double Elimination Tournament.
Rules:
I used a random order Generator to Seed the teams 1-8
Each year uses their roster from that year including coaching staff (example 2023 gets 2023 Bear Jones while 2025 gets 2025 Bear Jones)
Using bats from 2008 season (midway point of title rune ; close to midway point in bat performance)
All games played at The Box
Bracket is setup identical to the one currently used in Omaha.
Bracket 1
Game 1: (4) 2023 vs (5) 2000
Game 2: (1) 1997 vs (8) 2025
Bracket 2
Game 3: (3) 2009 vs (6) 1996
Game 4: (2) 1991 vs (7) 1993

2023 advances 14-12 over 2000 with 9 home runs total in the game. Brad Hawpe had 5 rbis
97 can’t quite catch the velocity of 2025 and loses 10-6. Jared Jones and Ethan Frey both go deep.
Blake Dean homers, Jared Mitchell finishes with 2 triples and a homer leading to victory over 96. 11-7
93 edges a close 7-6 win over 91 due to Todd walkers walk off.

I am not expert enough for this, but what a fun exercise
I vote the 188 HR team as the winner

Using wooden bats, I would have 2023 and 2009 up there. This is a good discussion. I would like to see starting lineups and pitching rosters for all teams.

91 pummels 93 9-3
Todd walker goes 4-4 with all 3 rbi but it’s not enough
