Does anyone know somewhere that I could get my hands on a bottle of Old Forester 1924?

Probably will be pretty hard to find, but shouldn't be impossible. I saw a bottle a few weeks back at the Piggly Wiggly in Madisonville. It was overpriced by bout $30, but it was on the shelf.

Yea I'm willing to pay a little more. A guy I work with is retiring and that was going to be part of his gift. We are not having much luck so far.

Join some local bourbon groups on Facebook and they get invited to the buy/see/trade groups related to them. Then make a looking for post. Should be able to find one local'ish under $150 depending where you are. Might have to drive to Laffy for it if you're in Lake Chuck.

quick google shows some at semi-secondary prices.
I have a bottle, not worth secondary prices FWIW.

My honey hole has one but way overpriced. Not worth the difference in price (way over MSRP) between the 1924 and 1920.
