Was thinking earlier about how LSU baseball has a similar deal with the devil Alabama football has

I’ve been thinking that a lot too. It’s good to be the “bad” guys everyone hates due to how often we win.

The only difference is that in football so many of those "flukes" leading to Bama wins were heavily - and in most cases purposely - caused by the bought and paid for SEC officiating.

This thought ran through my mind too.

It’s gut wrenching; but LSU football has 3 Natties this century and the greatest team/season ever - so that’s some major solace.

I remember a Bama fan celebrating in Alex Box thinking they had a win wrapped up and we hit a grand slam to come back and walk them off. That fan was devastated. I told them, now you know how I have felt many times in football.

Right!!
Had the Ark and UCLA game been closer, they would’ve pissed that one away as well

ESPN was all but ready to crown Arkansas based off the no hitter itself. Now it's time for LSU to get a little revenge on Coastal Carolina from knocking us out years ago, because now it's gonna be a couple of days about their win streak (when reality is they haven't played nearly the same schedule that LSU has played in the last couple of months).
