If I spoon fed Urea at .175 lbs as a foliar app, and it immediately rained .15” (light to moderate), is it all wasted? Or will it accomplish its goal as a non-foliar soil application?

Not a lot of rain so won’t lose much to leaching. Could possibly lose a good deal due to volatility as ammonia from conversion to ammonium in the soil with the warm temps. Especially if the formulation did not have a urease inhibitor.

Well, throw it out because there was a downpour a couple hours later. Probably 1-1.5”
Oh well. I’ll try again next week and be a bit more patient.
Thanks for the info
