We walked them 11 times yesterday and gifted them 3 of their 6 tonight.
The closeness was our deficit not their ability.

You are absolutely correct, That second inning they should have scored 2 runs at most. And this two runs would have been on base due to a walk and hbp. We gave them 3 free base runners, didn’t pick up a ball to stop it from going foul and get an obvious out, then blew a double play ball where we have been almost perfect all season long. We were gagging out there.
They were getting blood hits and high cholera over our infielders. We had 3 outs caught 390 feet from home plate. They got all the breaks tonight.
Last night was a lot of the same. It was just our pitchers walks and our batters choking that got this regional to today.

Yall are wrong. LR was great at taking pitches, not chasing balls, and shortening up their swing down in the count.

Still, doesn’t matter if our mistakes granted them better stats, they have a good team. Even if you just consider yesterday vs today, they have a better team. Props Little Rock, hold your heads up you rocked us first game and we got through a slippery situation 2nd game

You don’t have a good team and have their record. We can try to make them better, or hit, or scrappy. But they were lacking in many areas that were exposed often throughout a bad season. A season that gets many coaches fired

That doesn't explain 46 runs in four games scored by the Trojans. Little Rock played well. They were hungry.

Definitely a scrappy group. We killed ourselves the last 2 games though.
