I've been looking into getting a multiviewer to split my TV into a quad box for sports watching. I like the 4x1 HDMI multiviewers, so I can attach Chromecast, Roku, etc. However, what happens if one of the things I want to watch is simply on satellite/antenna TV? Can I switch off HDMI from one of the 4 boxes to simply display regular antenna TV (and yes, I have an antenna).

TIA, new to all of this ...

This isn’t an issue. If you are already streaming, then you can stream your cable or satellite via Roku. If you want to stream antenna via Roku, get a HD home run box. But to answer your question, it depends on the TV. For monitors built specifically for this purpose, probably not.

Thanks, that makes sense. I guess that's true, I could always just stream the local channels via the HDMI device.

yea its all about the TV. TVs used to have PIP but not many have that anymore.
