Was interesting for about 45 minutes. Way too long.
Hollywood has to force gay in there somehow.
Some of the non rich people were portrayed as totally ignorant and not capable of saying more than 4 words at a time.
Trash movie

What an awkward walk down the rock quarry mountain next to the guy who forced his dick in your arse .

Did you interpret that scene as being very gay-positive?

I'm surprised this hasn't become the newest Hollywood trope.

Watched it last night. First half is fine I guess. Second half was.... unenjoyable. Cinematography and acting were good, it was just hard to really like Toth as a character. And the Van Burens sucked too. His cousin and wife were cool until they oddly turn against him. What the hell was that all about?
Even him being a junkie is just a kind of random plot device that wasnt really that interesting. The weird sexual stuff didn't add anything to the movie, and made things weird. The flash forward to the 80s is an odd transition to end the movie. All of a sudden switching to an 80s art house film style didn't really work. Unlikable characters and everything that happened was depressing.
The "American industrialist exploits, abuses, and rapes immigrants" theme was way too on the nose, and frankly dumb, especially the immigrants being Jewish Holocaust survivors. Just didn't buy it.
And then I see that it isn't even based on a real person. Will never watch again.
