I've never attempted to go to a regional or super regional as work always got in the way. I happen to be off that weekend and want to make a go out of it. Am I stuck using the secondary market?

LSU gives season ticket holders first dibs to regional tickets.

After the deadline for season ticket holders to reserve their tickets, LSU then opens up whatever tickets are left to non-season ticket holders.

You probably should keep checking on LSUSports.com-tickets to see when that "open up" date is. It's usually sometime during the week before the regional starts.

Keep in mind fans of visiting teams coming to the regional also get dibs on a couple hundred tickets (NCAA requirement) but those are in reserved sections of the Box.

Your best and most affordable bet, would be to first try and buy a regional book through LSU, which will give you a ticket to every game in the regional. It’s like $90 per book I believe? The downside is, you’ll probably only be able to get SRO tickets. You could get a ticket in the LF homerun bleachers. You’ll also have to be on LSU’s website ready to go, right when they go on sale. Like the other poster said, follow LSU’s announcements on their website in regards to the regional, so that you can know when the tickets go on sale. They usually go on sale to the general public on that Wednesday or Thursday before regionals start.

Otherwise secondary market will be your only other option.

I am surprised they go on sale that late but I guess they do not have an issue moving them

Preorders have been taken for season ticket holders. Regionals sites are announced tonight, then the field and where all teams are assigned tomorrow. Then the ticket office needs to square away/charge credit cards etc for the preorders and tickets for the other teams. Only then will they know how many tickets are available to the general public. Can’t really do it any sooner.
