Solution for Outdoor curtains

Have these curtains on my patio and these straps are starting to see the end of their life. Any suggestions on like a button snap that I can screw in and attach over the curtains?

A 1 foot piece of smallish stainless steel chain.
Never rust, never break and will last through multiple sets of outdoor curtains.
