Louisville - Best places to live?

What is a good area to look for a home or apartment around the Louisville area? Any recommendations? Looked around the East side of city so far.

Depends on style of living. Butchertown can be pretty cool and St. Matthews is nice if you want to live a little more out of town.

I lived in the Axis apartments. Newer build, nice central location to everything. Nulu/ downtown, the highway, Cherokee park, Indiana, the highlands.
Safe. Mostly young professionals lived there.
