Tigers +3 on #18, Miss Match Play By 2 strokes. Women’s Golf: NCAA Championship Thread

Live Leaderboard

Location: Omni La Costa, North Course (Carlsbad, California)

Format: Cut to top 15 teams after Sunday (54 holes). After Monday (72 holes), an individual champion will be crowned, and the top 8 teams advance to Match Play. The team national champion will be determined by a match-play bracket. Quarterfinals and semifinals on Tuesday, followed by the finals on Wednesday.

Still very much in it for tomorrow’s cut. Need to make up a few strokes. Unreal numbers put up by Stanford today at -10 with nearest best round -3 and even top 20 teams at +7-+11. Not sure anyone can beat the this year but sure be nice to get to final 15 and see what happens. Get to match play and anything can happen.

They put together a great round until the 18th and very nearly pulled it off. Even with the +3 on the 18th, they still had the 4th best round of the day. They just had a little too much ground to make up.
