It’s Jackie Bradley Jr. Won 2 CWS at USC and a World Series with the Red Sox. I think this is his first season calling games but he definitely has skins on the wall.

Why does he sound 15? My first question when I heard him was if it was a female calling the game.

Yeah he doesn’t have a voice for color commentary and so far he doesn’t have much to add to Dave Neal’s play by play

Was just coming here to post this. He's by farrrrr the worst color guy we've had all year. Did Dave Neal just scoop this guy up at the bus stop on the way to the park? This is awful.

Yeah my original thought was he was just reading off numbers and was watching LSU for the first time this year. That's why I was thinking a student, combined with his voice. And he continues to reaffirm my original thoughts.

I’m not vouching for the guy’s media skills, I’ve only seen him on SEC Now alongside Jared Mitchell. Sounds like a guy who ESPN thought would be a good commentator because he was a good player. Doesn’t always work out that way. Jared Mitchell is waaaaaaay better and he doesn’t even call games.
ETA it’s only a matter of time before ESPN sticks J-Mitch on these broadcasts. He’s got the knowledge and personality and can actually engage in conversation.

That would be great. J Mitch also has a forehead made for a baseball booth, not as much for TV.
