Making the trip to Hoover for the first time this year. Going to be there the whole week so looking to get some insight from people who have been previously. Good places to eat, bars to go to, must see sights while in town. Do’s and donts for games, travel etc. and just overall opinions on your experience going to the tournament. Obviously watching the games is the priority but when there’s free time looking to do some stuff. Thanks in advance for the tips!

Root for aTm to get the 9-seed. Playing Missouri is better than a bye.

Most good food and drink is downtown, which is not particularly close to the ballpark.

There's a newish development with a place called Big Whiskey or something like that that is supposed to be good. Some other places around it but imagine it will be a zoo because it's right next to the ballpark.

There's a Eugene's Hot Chicken in Hoover that is good. It's in a strip mall. You're in Hoover, Alabama baby.

They have a fan fare at the Finley Center right by the stadium that’s free and great if you have kids. Stadium Trace up the street will have some good options. It depends what you want. Walk Ons is decent and for donuts there’s Hero. Big Whiskeys has a killer happy hour from 3-6. Snake Handlers (Good People Double IPA 10%) are $4. You’ll get lit.

Otherwise you have to go downtown for breweries/bars/restaurants that are better. Just google the best and you should get the options. Good breweries is Uproot and Bham District but check out Hop City for varieties. Monday Night Social Club has incredible stout selections.

We’re for sure gonna google and see what’s around. But I was looking to see if there were any places you or others have been that you recommend. Seems like Big Whiskey is on the list now!

Might get more help posting this on the SEC Rant, or even the Tiger Rant. Plenty of LSU fans that regularly post (but don't frequent the MSB) can probably help you out. Of course, you are going to get called gay, but you more than likely are.

I’ve been banging your mom for years. Perhaps address me as father from now on.

And I thought about sharing to the rant but wanted to try and avoid trolls as best I could. Still might move this over there later this week
