Ever Watched the China Show?

It's two guys that both lived in China for about 15 years and were good friends while they were there. One was a South African that ended up being a bodyguard for a Chinese (close to) Billionaire that ran all the ESL schools and the other is an American that was essentially a paid propagandist for the CCP.
Now that they are in the States, they use their contacts, knowledge of the culture and mastery of the language to tell outsiders what's really going on in China.
A good weekly watch, and their shows always feature clips from the past week or so of funny stuff that happens in China.

I used to watch the South African guys channel a lot. The American guy was supposedly being hunted down by the MSS before he left.

China has a lot of problems but their plans around STEM technology, schools, and medical is a little concerning … add in their global ports and rail plans and you will be more concerned

Not particularly concerned with China. They have a rather myopic view of the world which would be frightening if they had the ability to project their military but they can't. Their country can still be starved to death in a matter of months, and the rate of domestic terrorism would scare the hell out of me if I was CCP.
