While it is not a standalone book. The Bible contains a chapter titled "Judges". I recently read that chapter and it is filled with many trials and tribulations. It talks about salvation and servitude. Servitude/slavery to those that go against God and salvation for those that repent and turn their life over to God the Almighty. It's not the easiest of reads but very enlightening.
