Watched it earlier. McGregor is charismatic and loves his country. I don't know how deep his knowledge is about all the issues but it would be interesting to see him run.

Ireland has the same problems here but enhanced. Some Dublin folk can’t see that they are loosing their culture at the expense of fear of being labeled a racist. Others in the country hate that the government is spending so much money housing these people.
Tourism is down 22%. You could notice a change in Dublin from when we went in 2019 to again in 2025.
Hopefully they change. It’s such a great and overlooked country to spend time in. Wonderful folks.
In fact, we caught lunch randomly in Kenmare on our way to Killarney. The place we stopped in to eat was owned by a guy who’s in-laws were from Abbeville. He couldn’t believe that I knew exactly where it was. Rural folks are the same everywhere.

Too much is made about IQ, imo. They ridicule Trump, yet he has a vast knowledge on practically all topics, the only person smarter in this country would be SFP. But having a good moral compass is so much more important than smarts. Look at William Jefferson Clinton as a case in point, pretty smart but, uh well you know, cigars. It’s seems the only ones able to overcome the evil abroad is celebrity.

“What are his intentions” is the question. I don’t need an evil guy with deep knowledge that knows how to take a country down by mass migration.
Connor loves his country and the anuthoritarians are taking away his culture. The “smart” evil guys are trying to kill his country and it baffles me.
Love of country is a great place to start. Common sense is better than a Harvard-Inculcated DEI “education”.

If I were Irish I wouldn't gaf about the above as long as the below was legit and sincere, and knew there was going to be a hard u-turn on immigration. At this point there is nothing on the table than fixing it. A smart issues patriot can be picked next.

I tried watching it, but turned it off. I respect and admire McGregorsl efforts to help his country. I hope it works out for him, but I don't think he's very articulate and doesn't come across as a person that could negotiate the political arena.
Especially one he faces in Ireland under its present condition.
