I like Squid a good bit.
Had never heard of Truck Violence. Was looking them up on Rate Your Music based on this thread, under genre it has “post-hardcore, noise rock, pigfrick”. Can’t say I’m super familiar with the pigfrick genre.

Squid has the obvious Pavement vibe with the vocals, but I really like all three of the songs I’ve heard from them.
I read about Truck Violence on some music site and checked them out. No clue about the pigfrick thing, either.
