New animated predator anthology film coming out June 6. Looks like 3 settings: Viking, feudal Japan, and WW2

Yeah same. Dan trachtenberg mentions in the article that it allowed him to do things that would otherwise be harder to do in live-action though

Not as impactful in animation
You lose the sheer brutality of it all, knowing that you can draw anything that otherwise would be impossible or more intense with live actors

I'm in, but some of that animation looked basic and choppy.
