The best pho place in BR is an unknown

Usual I don’t talk too much about pho in BR. I’ve had them all in town….Dang’s, Saigon Noodles, Little Saigon, Viet Garden, Bao, Ava, Mimi, Drunken Fish, Red Lotus. I found out the best pho in town is not in a restaurant but a supermarket. Along Florida Blvd in that old Vietnamese area, there is a supermarket named Hung Thinh. The supermarket itself is underwhelming but there is an eating/dining area that serves the best pho in town. The catch is that they open only on Saturdays and Sundays.
I finally tried it this morning after a couple of people told me about it. The broth really hits differently vs the other places. Had this morning been cold, it would’ve tasted better. Seems like the customers are mostly Vietnamese which is a good sign. And they play old school viet music.
The outside
The menu. Very simple. Owner said the pho and bun Bo hue remains the same. The last 3 items change each week. They also have bánh mì.
I got the pho. I finished it and really thought about coming back this afternoon for a 2nd bowl. I’d hate the idea waiting a whole week to have another crack at it.
Wife got the duck noodle soup. Very good also.
Meal came out to $30.
