Are the crappie still spawning in the Baton Rouge area or is it over?

Can't say about Baton Rouge, but I was in Avoyelles yesterday and everything I saw pointed to the very last legs of it. No dark males, very few left on trees, no eggs in the ones I cleaned and schools of fish in 4-6'.

Caught a mess in pond Wednesday. No bites Thursday. Son catching a bunch today. All full of eggs. East Feliciana
