Best way to get burn marks out of bricks?

I was using my fire pit on my brick patio and stupidly through some branches that had fallen in the pit. Well some it landed on the brick and left black marks. Anyway to get it out? Wife is not too happy

I burned some sooty wood in my fireplace one time that created some soot streaks up the brick in front. I ended up taking some rags and windex to clean it. It took some work, but ended up working suprisingly well.

Magic eraser works on everything, maybe try that?
