What you fellas using for a seed hopper that attaches to atv? (not a pull behind) Looking for one that I can control flow rate of seed/fertilizer without having to get off 4 wheeler/side x side and be able to carry 100 #’s of seed/fertilizer.

What you fellas using? Thanks

The only one I’ve seen that isn’t thousands is made by Moultrie. Has a controller that will open the seed gate to a setting. The reviews were terrible and everything I’ve owned from moultrie in the last decade has been a piece of shite, so I passed on it and stuck with the metal rod that flops all over and won’t stay in one place. All ears if there’s a reasonable option out there with a 12v slider.

I bought one off of Amazon last year and had zero issues. Mounts to atv easily. Worked like a charm. May be a bit smaller than what you’re looking for though.

I have one of the MOULTRIE spreaders and it works fine. the quality isn't the greatest, but for the price you can't beat it. If you are using it for smaller food plots it serves its purpose. I used to use it on a 12 acre food plot and had to stop to fill it up quite often compared to a larger one, but it did the job. The metal control gate part doesn't always form a perfect seal (part of the quality issues), so if you are wanting to spread small seeds like turnips, etc., some will spill out before you open it, and you'll only need to barely open it when you spread. if you have them in the hopper before getting to the food plot some will spill out, but not a material amount. If you use it for fertilizer the metal parts will rust. especially the bracket that mounts to the atv. make sure to spray something to coat the metal before and after like wd40 and rinse/clean. mine is about 15+ years old and still running strong except for the rust. Had to replace brackets.
