Majesty Palm fronds won't open... plant seems stalled out.

I have two new majesty palms from Lowes I purchased two weeks ago. They are larger than ones I have purchased in years past. They both have fronds that were grown up but have not bloomed or opened. The plant seems stalled out. Anything I can do to help the fronds open or do I need to cut them off? No other new growth, but the plants do not seem to be dying. Both are green. Thanks.

how big is your pot?
try adding potting soil and moving them inside AWAY from direct sunlight

I wouldn't cut anything green off, unless I'm misunderstanding the issue.
