As predicted by Matt Belloni of The Town podcast and the Puck Hollywood newsletter. Belloni is a real long-time Hollywood insider and wouldn't be putting this out if he wasn't pretty sure.

I don't see how Alfonso Cuaron makes sense with the reported Amazon attitude of wanting to get this done quickly. Cuaron hasn't produced anything quickly in 20 years. Maybe he'll see it as a paycheck gig, which it obviously would be, and go about things less meticulously.
