The 1997 Odyssey miniseries is awesome

I see it’s free on prime now. Rewatching.
There’s something interesting happening in every scene. I remember watching when I was 7 years old, every commercial break they’d show a preview for the next bit of the show and it’d always be some new monster or adventure.
Sure, it does t fully hold up on a technical level, but it’s still a lot of fun

I am big fan. Great series. A lot of fun and sticks to the story really well.

NBC really went all in on fantasy/epic miniseries in the mid-late 90s.
Merlin, The Oddysey, Gulliver's Travels, etc.
Some better than others, but at least the tried to bring the medium back in a big way, and it was kind of cool.

Not necessarily Fantasy but I still watch Young Indiana Jones about once a year. That show is my canon and frick everything after Last Crusade.
