Let them have it, we don't need to get involved. Stand down in Ukraine and stay neutral

Man, this thing is spiraling. Us the US really going to have to ally with Russia to keep the EU from a World War III?
Is it really a World War if it's only Europe involved?
Also, if Germany incites yet another World War, they need to be completely dissolved as a country.

When has Russia ever been a major threat to France?
Posted on 3/6/25 at 6:39 am to Rashcock
I don’t have a problem with this as Russia is on their door step and the conflict in their backyard, just don’t ask us to save you if you decide to escalate and things don’t work out for you. Deal with the consequences

Note that none of this was being said or hinted at while the $$$ spigot was wide open from the US.
The EU has neither the manpower, nor wherewithal.
This is not rational statecraft.

A weakened Russia?
Sounds like he’s got big plans that include massive amounts of death and destruction. That’s some insanely dangerous rhetoric.

The problem is, the type of rhetoric coming from EU toward Russia is not going to get Russia to the negotiating table.
Trump needs to make it very clear to the EU: they’ve thumbed their noses at peace in favor of beating their chests. If they get themselves embroiled in a hot war with Russia, the US is not coming to their defense.

How much of the Macron bluster is him trying drag his party's approval ratings out of the toilet at home?

Sergei Lavrov mentioned, moving EU troops into Ukraine, is a act of war. Today, 27 EU countries are meeting in Brussels to discuss moving French Nukes to Eastern Germany.
Poking the bear once again.
