I never played Skate 1.

I'm stoked for it also. It's destroys the Tony Hawk series (which is taking a much needed hiatus for a while). It tries to be a bit MORE realistic, not fully being realistic though.

yea man if any of you guys go to LSU watch out for some really cool skate 2 events/tournaments in febuary.

Well I played the demo not too long ago (bout a week or so ago) and to me, it looked like they didnt change that much. The biggest thing probably that they did was you can get off the board now. They didnt change the aggravating camera or didn't put in different camera angles. The skate cam is a good view, but it just can get annoying at times because you run into things you cant see.

Also, since Skate destroyed Tony Hawk this past season, the next Tony Hawk game is gunna be realistic as well and whats also hilarious Neversoft will not be doing it...so it should be interesting lol

Why has the demo yet to come out for the PS3. I like the first one but idk if I want to put 60 down for this one

The game is sick and gets you sucked in with how much fun and how great it looks. I started playing last night at like around 8 when I got home with it, the next thing I know it's damn 3:30 in the morning. Very fun, and a relaxing game if you just wanna skate around

Didn't play the original Skate but I'm loving Skate 2.
Had a fun little run in yesterday online. First thing I did after getting the game was put the create-a-graphic to use: put "LSU" in gold font on a transparent background and put it on a purple custom shirt for my guy.
So I was doing an online freeskate challenge, 3 of us finished and 1 more was still trying. The two other guys were chatting away and ran up to me when one of them shouted "holy crap, this dude has an LSU shirt! That's badass! I want one!" It was the first time anyone acknowledged any created graphic in the few days I had been playing, so I was a little taken back by it.
Chilled with those guys a little while longer and was always referred to as "that LSU guy"

That the S.K.A.T.E. event with Koston and someone else? (haven't gotten to it yet)
From what I've seen, hang in there until they both bail and you get to set tricks. Then do triple flips/540s/both and they should bail on them.
