I am trying to purchase a used 26 ft Charles Leonard boat, but I’m having issue finding insurance for the boat being it’s a custom built boat. Any advise?

Progressive insures mine. Both are custom built aluminum.

They turned me down this morning unfortunately

Do you have a hull id from ldwf or is the issue that progressive cannot value the boat because it is not a production model?

Yes sir. They are telling me the vin comes back as a homemade boat
