Though he looked a little doughy he still did show some shiftiness and ability to make the 1st man miss in his limited time with us. I know the stories were at the beginning of the season that he was not in a good place mentally (PTSD type from his past incident) but I'm still curious as to why he did not see the field at all for KC but managed to get some playing time with us after just a week of being on the team. I know our injuries helped that, but still he did not look bad and that would not account for him not seeing the field in KC if he was not in the right state mentally there then how did that change when he got here? Just home sick?

Clyde suffers from PTSD. It's legitimately awful. If you remember, he had to kill a guy in self-defense.
He's a good person, not Ray Lewis or Rae Caruth, so it messed him up. Being close to home gives him a support system
