I wonder if they will be any better than the Squier CV models?

Made in Indonesia seems like a Squier with a Fender badge on it.

I've got an older Indonesian Squier Standard Telly that I really like. I sure as hell didn't give 600 bucks for it though.
It has a 1-piece neck with 22 frets. The original Pickups and all the pots and switches had to be upgraded. Other than that it's a great guitar.
This one looks really easy to mod the hell out of, especially with the humbucker neck pickup rout and middle single coil rout.

Reviews on youtube so far have not been flattering. Not bad guitars at all, just overpriced for what it is and what else you can get for less money.

I'll go check them out soon for myself, just out of curiosity. I'm not in the market, but I have to admit, I really like that blue color one.
Upgrading the nut to bone and upgrading the pots and switches might do wonders for the guitars.
I thought the pickups sounded pretty darn good on the telly in the video above.

Exactly, the used market is flooded. I just picked up a MIM Tele that has the flame Maple top 75th Anniversary SE with a Hard case for $650. The Fender case cost $200 new. I dropped a Lollar Special T in the bridge, Royal T in the neck and a pre wired Lollar 4 way with orange drop cap in it.

this is the way, if you're going to upgrade and tinker, used on craigslist and facebook marketplace all day long. A Callaham bridge upgrade is also well worth the money.
