Turks and Caicos- Excursions outside of Grace Bay

We plan on staying on Grace Bay. Looking forward to mostly chilling on the beach and checking out the restaurants and bars in that area. Is it worth visiting the North and Middle Caicos? My wife’s not into snorkeling or fishing. So this would be more of a sight seeing excursion. Aside from beautiful white beaches and blue water are there anything historical towns, natural formations, etc?

Definitely do a boat ride tour on Chalk Sound.

Take the ferry to North Caicos and have a rental car booked to meet you there. Drive across the causeway to Middle Caicos. Go the Dragon Caye.
Then eat lunch at the restaurant on top of the kill above the caye. You can also stop and take pics of flamingos.

I second this trip. We booked a tour while we were there and were able to see most of MC.
I would also recommend renting a car while your there. It will allow you to explore the island without having to rush.

North and Middle Caicos for sure. You aren't going to find taxis there.

We had a car on Provo. You can also rent one once you take the ferry. We didn't and used a private tour. We used Island Tours by Desmond. He came highly recommended by several of the FB groups my wife looked at before our trip. He picked us up and we toured the island with him. It was $180.00 per person.

We are also going in July. Any restaurant recommendations?
Thanks!

Just went in February. They weren’t cheap but Marine Room and Vita at Rock House were great. If you go to Vita get a sunset dinner. Amazing view. Also Da Conch shack for lunch

Call and get a reservation for Coco Bistro, it is a must while you're there. It's the only one you must make a reservation for before you arrive.
Da' Conch Shack is another must, you can do it for lunch or dinner.
Some others in no particular order:
The Almond Tree
Cocovan Airstream Lounge
Thai Orchid Restaurant
Bella Luna Ristorante and Pizzeria
(The pizza was much better than the Italian food.)
Where are you staying while you are there?

That's where we stayed. It was awesome! They had just opened The Farm while we were but we didn't eat there.
I would highly recommend looking into VIP Flyers if you are flying out on a Saturday. It was worth every penny. That airport is tiny and didn't have great AC. They will walk you through security and you have your own private area w food and AC.
