most people on this board call out Lee, Hatch, and Jefferson for all their mistakes this season...but there were plenty of times this season the qb's made good throws, but the recievers would drop the ball...so who would you say was more disappointing this season?

Jared Mitchell. Had a bigger role in 07. Byrd fell victim to a bad QB.

Please, Byrd fell victim to his attitude. If you took a minute to watch his antics of screaming at everyone on the sidelines every time he drops a ball after giving a half-effort, you'd know this.

That is a correct evaluation. I'm just conditioned that most WR's are divas who do this if they don't get the ball enough.

i think Byrd also...besides the big Auburn and Alabama catches in 07 he really hasnt done that much to impress me...i had very high expectations for him this season but the offense was just too inconsistent..i think against Arkansas this season LSU had 9 3 and outs in the second half that sparked Arkansa's comeback win...of course its not just Byrds fault, i just thought hed have a better season

+1 This tends to leave a bigger impression than on the field performance, imo.

Let's not forget his knack of dropping the ball in clutch situations.

What kind of attitude does a person have when he wants to slap someone with an AIDS dick?

Byrd definitely.

My disappointment with Jared comes from the fact that he was riding the wave of momentum from Baseball, he left the Cape Cod leaugue early to join Football, and there was an opening for him with Early Doucet leaving. It does not look like he progressed at all at WR (except for telling T Tolliver what his route was when they broke the huddle together.

byrd. dropped to many passes and well gave up.

paul tt cant be considered a disappointment unless you blame the wizard for that. tt didn't have enough balls thrown his way. we did see some good signs though when we got the ball to him.

its the only game i could actually attend and watch them play. there was instances we could of made plays just didnt happen and we became predictable because our WR's were not dependable enough that game.

and also i thought wed see some of the younger recievers play this season...also Ryan Baker and Ron Brooks...didnt see much of them off of special teams

TT got off to a slow start, but had some nice games down the stretch including some clutch catches. Like you said, they really didn't dial his number much until the later part of the season.
