It’s distracting as hell. I can’t find out how to turn it off.

Thank you, man, but I’m still not finding anything on how to turn the TV icon off

The manual is usually helpful.
quote:
1 Press and hold ? (TV) and (BLUETOOTH)
on the bar speaker for more than 5
seconds.
[DIMMER] appears in the front panel
display.
2 Press ? (volume) +/– on the remote
control to display the desired setting in the
front panel display.
3 Wait until the displayed setting disappears
from the front panel display.
The setting is fixed.
Note
The front panel display is turned off when [OFF] is
selected. It turns on automatically when you press any
button, then turns off again if you do not operate the
speaker system for about 10 seconds. In case of that the
speaker system cannot be operated without displaying
message in the front panel display, the front panel
display lights with the brightness of the [DARK] setting.

I don't have one so I can't confirm but the manual says the TV button is the second button from the left. It looks like a square or rectangle.

I tried holding that and the Bluetooth button and it didn’t work. But thank you for trying to help anyways.

Try it again. I too was having this issue. I bought an open box excellent condition system . Exact same one. Missing manual. And it was so annoying seeing display. The poster above who clearly displayed the instructions was absolutely correct. You simply didn't follow them correctly. And as answered above , the TV button is the button that looks like a square . It's the second button on the soundbar . You press the second button square and the Bluetooth down for 5 whole seconds not 1 or 2 or 3 but 5 and the bar absolutely will change display to dimmer or something and then you use the volume keys on the remote and you can out to off . Once off the display only comes on briefly when the remote is used or settings are changed on soundbar like volume or whatever. Then it turns off. This was a life saver for me. I logged on to this board just to tell you you were just not following the simple instructions correctly. And that amazes me.
