Mass Effect: Legendary Edition

So, as someone who was familiar with Mass Effect but had never played it (but a huge fan of that era of Bioware games), seeing it for under $5 was too good to pass up.
Barely into the first game, and a few amusing things I've found:
1. The graphics are clearly dated - I can see how they were cutting edge at the time but now are rough (and in some cases, entirely horrifying).
2. The game expecting loading times but then having none (running on an NVMe drive as opposed to a classic hard drive is something they could never have accounted for) is amusing.
3. Penny Arcade made a comic when it first came out about how the game tells you absolutely nothing about the mechanics, and experiencing that first hand had me chuckling. They also made fun of how long the elevator rides are. :)
4. The story is fun. I'm not super deep into it yet, but have avoided reading anything about it or watching videos. Aside from the fact that I knew the main character's name is Shepard, and the fact that you can romance some characters, I had no other real knowledge of the game.
Haven't checked to see if it's still on sale, but if so go check it out on Steam.

It’s an awesome series I played them when they came out. I need to go back and play them again with this insane sale

I started this a couple years ago and just stopped. Wasn’t my cup of tea
